HI THERE! I'M LOUISE,

I’m located on the North Island of NZ where I’ve been running a Dairy Goat Farm with my husband for over 25 years. We moved here from Holland for better opportunities 30 years ago & we’ve been loving the farming lifestyle ever since. I’ve set up a small Air BnB on our property as well & life has been good to us.

Our 3 adult children are located all over the world & we’re so proud of each of their careers and we’re excited to be welcoming our youngest daughter back to New Zealand really soon.

Recently we made some changes in our working lives to give us some more time, freedom, flexibility & to diversify as well, after the farming industry took a few hits throughout the pandemic. An Online search for another income opportunity, without being tied to a 9-5, led me to finding a purely remote Business Model based in the Personal Development sector & I have to say, it’s become a wonderful addition to our lives.

THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE:  Farming has been our passion & we’re proud of what we’ve achieved. We are part of a small Coop producing infant formula but Covid was a major disrupter & we went through some tough years. Both my husband & I went back to part time jobs just to top up the bank balance but it wasn’t going to be a long term solution to a potential overall problem. We really missed the well balanced life that we had before this uncertainty kicked in & I wanted to make sure that what we put our time into, was going to pay off for us.

THE PRIORITIES THAT BECAME OBVIOUS TO US: With the farm still being a priority to us & something that we love and enjoy, I didn’t want to be starting another business that was going to have us neglecting our other responsibilities. I needed to make sure I could build something from part time into a full time income & effort.

Our family keeps growing too & I felt that pull to be traveling again & making sure that when we do, our income isn’t impacted at the same time. No one wants to be torn between lifestyle choices & business responsibilities. My wishlist started to build which made it easier for me to identify the right opportunity when it came along.

THE STRATEGIES THAT LED ME TO SUCCESS:  From as early on as I can remember, I have been a Goal Setter. I took courses to further my education & my mindset and I knew that the more work I did on myself, the less work I would have to do, to create success. Don’t get me wrong - I’m all for rolling up the sleeves & getting to work! I just knew that with the right mindset I could achieve a greater income. I’ve always known that with the right strategy - both mindset & action taking, you can work towards something really special for yourself

THE BUSINESS THAT WAS A BOOM: Finding a business based in Personal Development has been such a win. The industry itself is always growing, always in demand, and the audience is global - whether I’m on the farm or away with my family.

Having a “Ready Made Business” attached to an Award Winning product range is exactly the right formula (pardon the pun)! I’m not overly tech savvy but I’m open to learning & I’ve been supported along the way so I don’t feel like I’m running this Business all on my own. It’s great to feel a part of a team again & I love leading others. While I’m helping other people to work towards their goals, I’m growing within myself too. When I made the decision to get started I thought, I trust myself to do the work, I’m excited about this, I’m going for it - and I love seeing other people make that decision too.
